  NEW MEXICO SOCIETY OF ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES
Presents: a Member educational lunch meeting for executives and association leaders:
“Marketing through Networking”  
withStacy Sacco, Business Consultant/Trainer, Marketing Association leader
 
In this period of economic downturn, we look for ways to market our organizations, make connections with industry leaders in the media and business community, grow membership and maximize the value of our organizations to our members.   Stacy Sacco will share tips and techniques on how to more effectively market your organization.
 
The event will be preceded by a CEO roundtable discussion, open to all association CEOs. 
  
Date: Tuesday, March 9,  2010;  Place: The Marriott Pyramid North 5151 San Francisco Rd. NE, Albuquerque
Times:    9:30 a.m – CEO Roundtable; 10:30 a.m. – networking & registration;
               11:00 a.m. – presentation, Stacy Sacco;  12 noon – lunch
 
Our speaker: Stacy Sacco returned to New Mexico over 10 years ago and only had a list of 19 contacts he knew from Boy Scouts, High School, and church, that he has grown to over 5,000 people including members of the 12 key marketing associations statewide, and key leaders in our local business community.  Stacy will share the system he uses to meet people and create long-term relationships for your personal and professional success.
Stacy has over 30 years experience in sales and marketing management ,including recently joining WESST as a Business Consultant at their Rio Rancho Regional Office. In addition,  he has taught sales and marketing classes as an Adjunct Professor at both UNM Anderson School of Management and in Webster University’s MBA Program. 
Stacy hosts the annual New Mexico MARCOM Mixer that brings together more than 350 members of the 10+ key marketing associations statewide. And previously he has served on several association boards including founding the Orange County chapter of the American Marketing Association and serving as President of the New Mexico chapter.  
Stacy was recognized as a Power Broker by the New Mexico Business Weekly the past two years, he earned an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Arizona, and he toured for two years with the international, educational organization, Up With People. 
This program is recognized for one (1) hour of credit towards the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification or re-certification
Preliminary agenda:
9:30 to 10:30 a.m. – CEO roundtables (open to Association CEOs)
10:30 to 11am – Registration and  networking
11:00 a.m. to12 noon – Presentation “Marketing through Networking ” , Stacy Sacco, speaker/presenter
12 noon –  lunch, follow up Q&A, introductions, adjourn
