A word from our sponsor:
"The Education Plan (TEP) is New Mexico's 529 plan and run by the NM Education Trust Board, an arm of the Higher Education Department.
By allowing The Education Plan as a contribution from payroll, you can help your employees have a positive impact on the education of their loved ones. With no cost or risk to you as an employer, this can easily enhance your benefits package and help make your company and our state's workforce more competitive.
Contributions to TEP are fully tax-deductible for New Mexico taxpayers and gift contributions can be made by relatives and friends. While TEP offers an exclusive tax benefit for New Mexicans, it can be used at any accredited institution of study across the country and even internationally, including community colleges, trade schools, private schools and online universities, and covers over 200 qualified expenses besides tuition, including housing, meal plans, books, computers, supplies and fees."
